Artist Statement
Tension is a thread throughout my work and it seems to (sometimes unintentionally) be in most everything I produce. This work creates tension while playing off life events. I’m fascinated with human behavior and the fragile microcosms that we fashion for ourselves, being afraid to face change. We often build up these expectations and we are unwilling to step outside of that.
